MillworkSuite at IWF Atlanta: Built with CLOUDSUFI for Real Millwork Workflows

MillworkSuite was built around a problem its founder knows firsthand: estimators and drafters in commercial millwork spend too much time finding, checking and re-entering information from drawing sets. At IWF Atlanta 2026, MillworkSuite demonstrated the product to the people who do that work every day.

The show gave our partnership a direct test. Could a product powered by complex engineering still feel familiar to a team working through a real bid? The conversations and demonstrations at the booth gave us a clear direction for what to build next.

Built around the estimator and drafter

Rob Hull brought roughly two decades of millwork experience to the product. CLOUDSUFI brought product engineering and applied AI expertise. Together, we have been building MillworkSuite to reduce repetitive work across estimating and drafting while keeping experienced people responsible for scope, pricing and the decisions that matter.

The platform reads architectural drawings, identifies relevant millwork scope and keeps detected items connected to their source sheets. Estimators can review and adjust that scope before pricing it with their own numbers. The resulting information can then move toward drafting without starting the job again from a blank file. This is the workflow MillworkSuite brought to IWF.

“I’ve lived these problems for 20 years. MillworkSuite comes from wanting to make the work easier for the people doing it every day — without taking away the experience and judgment that make them good at what they do.”

What happened on the IWF floor

At the booth, millworkers, estimators, drafters and business owners could see the workflow in action. Estimating and drafting bottlenecks came up repeatedly. Visitors were surprised by what the product could automate, yet recognized the steps and decisions from their own work.

The team repeatedly heard that MillworkSuite appeared easy to learn and familiar alongside tools already in use. Some visitors returned for another demonstration; a few brought colleagues to explore what else it could support. For a product at this stage, those follow-up conversations were as useful as the initial interest.

“The most valuable part of IWF was seeing people recognize their own workflow in the product. When complex technology feels simple to the person using it, that tells us we are solving the problem in the right way.”

A partnership built to fit the work

Millwork businesses have invested years in their CAD tools, libraries and established processes. MillworkSuite is being built to work with those systems, so adopting new capabilities does not require customers to discard the ways they already deliver projects.

That principle connects Rob’s industry experience with CLOUDSUFI’s engineering role. Automation can organize drawings, surface scope and carry information forward; the estimator and drafter still verify the work and apply their judgment. The product succeeds when the technology removes friction without taking control away from the people who know the trade.

The next stage of the product

Once visitors understood the estimating and drafting experience, some asked about broader shop drawing and production capabilities. Their questions reinforced MillworkSuite’s longer-term direction: a more connected journey from drawing through production and installation.

IWF moved the partnership from product development into direct conversations with the people it serves. MillworkSuite brought the industry problem and the product vision; CLOUDSUFI helped turn that vision into a working experience. We now have practical feedback to feed into the next stage of the build.
