Job Description
CLOUDSUFI is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance. The Lead is responsible for to oversee and manage the entire quality assurance process within a project and plays a crucial role in ensuring that the final product meets or exceeds customer expectation. Some of the key KPIs for this role are – Quality Planning, Team Management, Testing Strategy, Test Design & Execution, Defect Management, Process Improvement, Risk Management, Reporting & Communication.
Responsibilities
- Leading a team of testers and be responsible for the quality of work
- Creating test plans and strategies
- Identifying and documenting defects
- Tracking Quality Assurance metrics (e.g. defect density, open defect count)
- Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives
- Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience with test management tools (e.g. JIRA, Quality Center)
Required Experience
- Must have good programming expertise using Java Script and Typescript
- Must have executed more than 2 project end to end on Web Services layer testing
- (e.g. Rest API using Rest Assured, TestNG with Javascript or Typescript
- Must have experience Automation Tools – Appium and Playwright
- Must have experience with Selenium test automation using data driven test to validate and API calls using SOAP UI
- Should have experience of testing applications developed on Cloud Platforms- Azure, GCP, AWS; AWS preferred
- Should have experience of deploying the cloud applications using Dockers/ Containers
- Should have experience of integrating automation scripts with CI/CD Pipeline
- Experience with performance test automation using JMeter will be an added advantage
- Must have executed projects using Agile Scrum methodology and aware of all processes involved in Scrum
- Should be very well verse with current technology trends in IT Solutions e.g. Cloud Platform Development, DevOps, Low Code solutions, Intelligent Automation
- Participating in the entire lifecycle of projects – from requirement gathering to UAT sign-off
- Defining and monitoring productivity and efficiency of the testing teams through appropriate metrics.
- Proven experience in managing and facilitating the mix of internal teams and external vendors as a part of product buildout.
- Strong team building and people management skills are a must.
